Obama Action Figure

I caught a quick look at a news report online that mentioned an Obama action figure, and then a friend sent a link to another similar news article. Ok, it must be a phenomenon, so I checked it out. Oh my.

On the heels of the elimination of bin Laden, it's the Obama/Navy Seal doll. Obama is portrayed as muscular, with his winning smile, and automatic weapon.

For those less enamored of the President, there's the Obama/Joker doll.

I had to see what else they offered. Turns out there's a whole line of political figures, inlcuding:

1. Scott Brown, wearing only a fig leaf
2. Christine O'Donnell wearing a witch's outfit
3. Iran's Ahmadinejad wearing a "Let them eat yellow cake" t-shirt

and

a TALKING Jimmy "The Rent Is Too Damn High" McMillan doll!

The company is called Herobuilders. Doonesbury had some fun with them a few years back when they rolled out the Sarah Palin action figures, so they seem to be in it for the long haul. Probably won't give Mattel a run for their money, but they gave me a few chuckles tonight.
